So i've had a few days now to play with FinalRender Stage-1 R2, and all i can say is: wow! We Max/FinalRender users had to wait quite a bit for this, and the crowd was increasingly getting nervous. From the beta testers we heard about all the new stuff and when we demanded a realease date (on our knees and with tears in our geeky little eyes ;) ), all we got was pretty much the "Duke Nukem Forever" mantra of "when it's done". Well, it's out now and boy was it worth the waiting! just of few of my favourite new features: - The AQMC (Adaptive Quasi Monte Carlo, for you fellow geeks) GI engine knocks your socks off! yep, i'm doing it again: shamelessly promoting my website. however, this time around you might actually benefit from it, because i decided to add a download section. There you'll not only find the videos that were already on the site, but you'll also find some selected plugins for max 8 that i find very usefull. And on top of that, i'm giving away some of the my 3d models. Please remember to credit me if you decide to use them in your works.
